Nature and nature-based activities can provide physical and psychological healing in many different ways. Research shows that spending time in nature can reduce cortisol levels, improve mood, promote healthy sleeping patterns and enhance overall mental clarity. Many ancient practices are steeped in the understanding that nature has the power to heal by ingesting, inhaling, and immersion. One of these approaches, Ayurveda, arguably the oldest form of self care, concentrates on the balance of body, mind and conscious health. Mindfulness is encouraged, which increases observation, feeling present, increasing resilience and can be a great antidote for burnout. Be guided through a programme to promote an improved balance to your life and well-being.
*cold water swimming - activates natural stress responses, stimulates circulation, boosts immunity, enhances white blood cell production & helps alleviate symptoms of depression

*horticulture therapy - provides a sense of purpose for those tacking low mood and anxiety plus increases mobility through exercise and strengthened muscles
